MoodShift AI generates responses using artificial intelligence based on your voice input. These responses are for personal use only and may not always be accurate. They are not a substitute for professional advice, therapy, or medical guidance. Use your own judgment, and in case of a mental health crisis, contact your local hotline immediately.
MoodShift AI ("we", "our", "the app") is a voice-based mood shifting companion. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We generate a random, anonymous device ID (UUID) on first app launch to maintain conversation context between sessions. This ID:
Speech is converted to text using on-device or Apple/Google speech recognition. The transcribed text is sent to our AI service to generate a response. AI-generated audio responses are streamed directly to your device and are never stored.

Note: Processing may occur on-device or via Apple/Google servers depending on your device settings

Purpose: Weekly reminder notifications to maintain your streak (if you grant permission)
Control: You can disable notifications in your device settings
